華盛頓州立大學位于普爾曼的主校園占地2.5平方公里（620公頃），依山而建，距離愛達荷州的莫斯科市只有7英里，平均海拔2500英尺。校園內(nèi)的主要建筑物都是以紅色的磚為外墻，因為在校園內(nèi)的第一座建筑物為紅磚的建筑，自此以后所有的建筑的仿效類似的風格。在19世紀末，校園建筑物風格是當年流行的實用風格，充分反映建議作為教室及實驗室的用途，及至20世紀，建筑物開始加入不同復古主義的元素，例如大量的古典裝飾。到了現(xiàn)在，建筑物的設(shè)計已經(jīng)十分現(xiàn)代化，但仍然保留著紅磚外墻的傳統(tǒng)。

華盛頓州立大學是太平洋十大學聯(lián)會的成員之一，體育運動的吉祥物是美洲獅，故華盛頓州立大學的學生一般被稱為“華盛頓州美洲獅”，參與的運動包括美式足球、棒球、籃球、高爾夫球、田徑和女子排球等，其中以美式足球最受注目。華盛頓州立大學在美式足球上的最大對手是西雅圖華盛頓大學的“華盛頓愛斯基摩犬”，每年在感恩節(jié)前的星期六就會舉行“蘋果杯”一決高下。

AP/IB

華盛頓州立大學接受AP、IB等國際課程抵學分，AP考試成績3分以上，IB課程高級水準考試取得4分或以上，方可抵學分，IB標準水平課程不予抵學分。具體抵學分標準見外部鏈接。

申請材料

華盛頓州立大學本科通過CollegeNET申請，接受秋季和春季學期入學申請，截止日期分別是1月31日和11月15日。

要求申請者遞交的申請材料及其申請要求如下：

• 在線申請表格；

• 申請費：$50；

• 高中成績單：申請者班級排名TOP10%，GPA3.5以上，可被錄?。籊PA最低要求2.70，且高中期間修讀過人文、數(shù)學、基礎(chǔ)科學和社會科學課程。正式成績單可由學校直接遞交，招生委員會會對成績單做評估，申請者也可選擇第三方認證機構(gòu)認證，建議選擇WES、IREF或NACES其他成員機構(gòu)；

• 語言成績單：具體要求見上文本科基本信息；

• 資金證明：申請者需遞交$43,500的擔保金證明。

注：其他申請資料還可以包括推薦信、Essay、個人簡歷等。

費用與獎學金

本科（新生/轉(zhuǎn)學生）申請者可獲得以下兩個等級的獎學金：

• GPA3.30-3.59之間，可獲得每學期$1,000獎學金；

• GPA3.6以上，可獲得每學期$2,000獎學金。

如學生每年修夠24個學分，且GPA3.20以上，可獲得額外5個學期的獎學金。

華盛頓州立大學還向國際學生提供Need-aware獎學金。

轉(zhuǎn)學申請

基本信息：

注：華盛頓州立大學要求轉(zhuǎn)學申請者GPA2.5以上，如考慮轉(zhuǎn)學分，單門課程GPA須在1.0以上

申請說明

WSU接受國際學生秋季和春季學期轉(zhuǎn)學申請，截止日期分別是1月31日和11月15日。完成一年的大學課程，且GPA2.5以上，方有資格申請轉(zhuǎn)學。轉(zhuǎn)學申請者必須遞交大學課程描述，大學未讀滿一年的申請者，必須遞交經(jīng)公證的高中和大學成績單、SAT或ACT成績單。

專業(yè)設(shè)置

華盛頓州立大學本科開設(shè)95個專業(yè)，86個輔修專業(yè)，超過100個專業(yè)方向。

語言課程

如申請者達到華盛頓州立大學本科除語言能力要求之外的所有要求，可申請條件錄取。另外，該校為學生提供語言課程，通過，中國申請者可單獨申請入讀以下兩個項目之一：

• 強化美國語言中心（IALC），位于WSU的普爾曼主校區(qū)。

• 強化英語項目，位于華盛頓大學的西雅圖主校區(qū)。

以上兩個項目，學生一旦完成該中心5級水平的語言課程，且取得3.0以上成績，即達到WSU的本來語言要求。

另外一個是位于韓國首爾的中央大學1+3項目，學生完成該項目的6級水平，也即達到了WSU的本科語言要求。
